I have a 3 yr old and when she plays outside she loves to give the dog and cat something to eat. No matter if she has just eaten or not. I don't know how many times I have put it out of reach and asked her to spit it out and not to eat it. The next day she turns around and grabs what ever the cat hasn't eaten. I have put them out of reach but obviously need to do something else.
